Experience Float Therapy

Float therapy is most commonly referred to as sensory deprivation therapy because it allows all five senses to rest. We simply call it floating! At our studio we put you in control of your session. We don’t believe you have to remove all sensory inputs entirely to experience benefits. This may mean you like to have the pool lights on or off, ceiling lights on or off, or just go for it and be in pure darkness!

We make the question of music or no music easy because in our experience people do best with no music. We also are licensed to have 2 people per tank, so you may float with a partner, if that is what make you feel most comfortable. We just want you to develop your float practice.

Some Float Therapy FAQs…

Float Etiquette2023-05-10T18:31:52+00:00

Be Still

Surrender to stillness. Be the silent observer of your thoughts and feelings. All you need to do is inhale, exhale.

Be Hydrated

We encourage you to begin hydrating for your float session 24-36 hours before your session. We also recommend not drinking anything 40-60 minutes before your float session. You don’t want to be interrupted during your session with a nature call. We will have plenty of water for you after your session.

Be Powerful

Feel yourself be and let be. There is power in being still.

Be Tidy

Please return items to their places. Please be mindful of the salt solution…

Be Present

Please arrive early, we will take care of the rest, beginning with a complimentary chair massage session to get you in the right state of mind for your float session. After your float session, you are invited to relax in our lounge as long as you desire.

Be Minimal

When entering your float tank, you should be freshly showered with soap and shampoo. If you have long hair, you may want to loosely secure it so that it will not distract you during your float. A bathing suit can be worn based on your comfort level, but we recommend floating in the nude: no clothes, no make-up, no lotions, no jewelry and no phone distractions. Please turn your phone off. We will let you know when your float session is ending with music and lights.

Be Free

Free of expectations, demands and distractions. Allow your visit to be your restorative time to fully unplug.

Be Amazing

Wait…You already are!
